Greensboro Coliseum is a complex dedicated to entertainment and sports in Greensboro, the state of North Carolina. The complex which is consisted for example of arena, amphitheater, performing arts center, and many other facilities was opened in 1959 with a capacity of more than 23,000 seats.

Greensboro Coliseum 1921 West Lee Street, Greensboro, NC, 27403

Greensboro Coliseum is home to different sports teams such as men and women’s Atlantic Coast Conference basketball tournament in addition to the UNC Greensboro Spartans. Since 1967, the venue has hosted twenty three times Men's ACC Tournament while ACC Tournament was organized there twelve times. The venue hosted 1974 Men’s Final Four, and two years later the East Regionals that would come back to the venue two other times including 1979 and 1998.

The venue hosted many other sports events including games of hockey teams such as Carolina Hurricanes, Greensboro Monarchs, and Greensboro Generals. Indoor arena football games have also been held in the venue. Before being folded up, the Greensboro Prowlers for example played their games there between 1999 and 2004. And the Greensboro Revolution that stopped playing in 2008 played two seasons in 2006-07.

The arena hosted also several concerts, and the first main concert to be hosted in the coliseum was by The Monkees. In April 1972, Elvis Presley performed there and he came back again the same month in 1977. In 2010, the Christian Rock band Casting Crowns recorded their Until the Whole World Hears... Live at the coliseum. It also held many other events such as Arenacross, Monster Jam, and many other events like religious gatherings.
